  • 'American Idol' TV rating drops in viewers
Viewership on America Idol this season has dropped 10 percent from last year and has the lowest rating of all its seasons in the 18-49 year old demographic since 2002 according to several online news sources. The contestants don’t seem as consistent, skilled and polished as contestant of the past and that could be affecting the rating. Executives at FOX responded by stating: “the slide is not unusual for a 9-year-old program and add that in the 18-49 age group prized by advertisers, it is down just 8 per cent and still 72 per cent ahead of its nearest rival.” &ndash...

Photos Credits: Keith B Dixon Yesterday was the opening night for Tim Barsky’s Echo's Reach and despite a few hiccups, a key performer was injured during an earlier show, some missed juggles, and a few sloppy dance moves, the show was interesting, entertaining and worth seeing. Overall the performers worked hard to put on a good first nights show.  Live music and two of the most talented narrators accompanied the performers; one sang and the other beat boxed and at times it was difficult to tell whether the music was live or recorded they were so good. According to Barsky...

  • Apple left the Mac World 2010 Expo and so did the fans and vendors
Photo: Keith B Dixon  At first, the crowd at Mac World 2010 looked like a bustling metropolis as hordes of attendees waited in line to pick up their badges or register. The Expo was almost reminiscing of the old Comdex computer show days in Las Vegas. On the contrary, this year’s expo was what most people expected with the departure of Apple: a smaller crowd, a scaled back floor plan, and a crammed Expo with a sparse group of major corporate vendors. This years...

  • Movie Review: The new Sherlock Holmes the movie: it was like Iron Man in the 1800's
